Handicapping Changes

Golf Australia have confirmed that the first package of handicapping changes under the new USGA course rating/Slope handicapping system will come into efect at 9am on Friday 9th April.

The first package of changes incorpaorates the calculation of handicap- Commence operation of the USGA's Rolling Sample Method

Because we are on Golflink, we do not need to do anything to instigate the process of recalculating all handicaps, as Golflink will automatically re-calculate handicaps in accordance with the new regulation and will be ready for use at 9am on the 9th of April 2010.

There is a copy of the method for calculating  the new handicap available at the course.

The new cards are now in use, so the indexes and holes have been changed.  This will also be updated on the website shortly.  I do need to get some fine weather so once the course is mowed i can get out and take some new photos and come up with new descriptions for the holes.
